So I finally made the plunge and went to Futureshop to see if I could get the laptop of my dreams.
I went a little earlier to check out the laptops before I came in that night and had them ring one up. I narrowed it down to three laptops that I knew i would be happy with either.
Sorry Amber but that's not my style.
I picked the third one (brownish laptop). This one was also the one I was looking at last month but never acted on it. I had Tammy talk to a manager that knew me pretty well to see what kind of deal he could get me. Tammy came home saying that for the nine hundred dollar laptop he could give it to me just above cost at eight hundred dollars....at cost being seven hundred ninety something dollars.
When I went in to pick up what I thought would of been a new laptop instead I was asked if I was ok with getting the display model. I looked at it and it seemed like ti was still brand new so I agreed. They go into the back and bring out a older display model, wtf crap what did I just agree to. The laptop seems to have been used and old judging from the amount of dust built up in the fan beneath the laptop.
Whatever it doesn't really matter right now since I bought the 2 year warranty and if I really can't stand the laptop I'll over load the processor and have them replace it for another one lol.

So about the display model
MY MODEL CURRENT MODEL
The display laptop was a older model of that they carried before and I'm happy about that. The difference between the two is that the "current model" has a dual core 2.1Ghz AMD processor where as "my model" only has a dual core 2.0Ghz AMD processor, Big woop everyone knows to round down if the decimal is 0.4 or under. The reason why I'm glad I got this model is because "my model" comes with wireless a/g/n grade where the other model only has wireless a/g WAN. Did I mention the older model has Bluetooth? Because it does....HA two things I was really hung up about since the one i thought I was getting didn't have those two features which I would actually use.

I'm going back and exchanging it, I rather have a new one then a display with bluetooth and N grade wireless...the Sales clerk tried to rip me off but Tammy caught it when I talked to her about it when she got home.
