Should of worn jeans.

I got to work a bit early just so that I could check my hours and figure out when it was the best time for Anhie and I to head to Ikea for some Dorm supply shopping, more on that when it happens. So its not even 7am yet and already Fran one of the mangers asked me if I could get some carts for her, first off getting carts was store standards curse and I'm Sporting Goods. Even still I was called in to work in Seasonal so still half asleep I think I mumbled " no can do, no steel toes" and went on my way without waiting for a reply.

Working in the seasonal department wasn't all bad there was Andrea the Department manager, Linda a co-Manager from Cambridge and then Nichole from Kitchener. Around lunch time Brandon one of the Store Standards walks up and starts opening a box. Fran had sent him to help us instead of doing his actual job, hey i wasn't complaining. The day wears on and nothing really exciting happens, the only thing Brandon and I came to agree on was that Nichole had a nice rear end.

The day seemed like it was gonna be an easy one with the majority of what we were doing was putting away boxes of stock on the shelves. Then the bomb shell hits when Linda comes back from her lunch break tells me that she needs me to take down a bike rack display so that she can make room for all the stuff she'll be putting there. Take down a giant fixture cool I'm game but when i asked how it comes part her answer was the last thing I wanted to hear. "How should I know I'm from Cambridge, this is your store why don't you know?" well I work in sports part-time the most I've done was move shelving around and setting up cardboard displays.

Obviously she wasn't going to be any help so I grabbed two rubber malets off the shelve in hardware and tossed Brandon one.

Taking the display apart wasn't all bad aside from the extremely loud crash when a metal bar support nearly taking off my head fell off from us just pulling another one off....funny.....co-workers and customers as far as pantry came and asked if everything was ok but not one manager came to check if we were ok. Probably were waiting for a code white (injury) to be paged over the P.A since they were too lazy to walk over.

2 o'clock rolled around and all the girls just seemed to drop what they were doing and started walking towards the back telling Brandon and I that they finished at 2 and we were to finish what they told us earlier and then leave at 4.

Brandon was cursing a lot after they left since he wanted to go too so he just got up and left half an hour later, umm thanks. So it was just me left in the department and the store started to get a little busy. I worked the rest of the stock that they said wouldn't fit on the shelves, on to the shelves, then broke down the boxes. The guys back in recieveing were also having a bad day when i went back there with the broken down boxes, apparently Chris the store manager have been on their case all day with reandom orders, suxxs. I cleared a 4 foot section in the toy section for some scuba gear my department (sports) had received and worked them in beside the life jackets...hey I had to work on my department at least a little today lmao. Sold two lawn mowers, a BBQ display model, and a fishing liscense and clocked out for the day.

I clocked out at 3pm...HAHAHA (it was long enough day)
